How Scleroderma Strengthened My Will to Live

“There, in that ICU bed, with a trach freshly punctured into my throat, I promised myself I would not live as if I were dying.”

Below you’ll find a link to my article that is being featured on You and Me Magazine. If you’ve ever thought you didn’t have the strength to face an obstacle, please read and share this. If you or someone you love is touched by scleroderma, please share this with your social media community. As I’ve mentioned before, my motivation in writing about my experiences is to elevate awareness and funding for scleroderma. Please help me get this story out to a broad audience.

  1. Just recently found out I had scleroderma In February 2023. It still hard for me to accept it. I don’t know anyone around me including family who dealing with this. It be nice to be surrounded by those who are, so that i can learn to accept and how to exactly live with it. Im only 24 so its taking me back from a lot I wanted to enjoy in life at the moment. Especially since I just graduated from college a year ago.
